First, dial the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 to be connected to the Senate office you request.

Once you’ve been connected, you can say the following:

“Hi, my name is [INSERT YOUR NAME] and I am a constituent of [INSERT YOUR SENATORS NAME].

I am calling today about how the coronavirus pandemic will effect voters and volunteers at crowded polling places this November.

I am concerned that Americans will have to choose between the right to vote and protecting their health.

I urge [INSERT YOUR SENATORSNAME] to support a safe and secure election this November. This includes removing barriers to vote by mail, making sure polling locations are well resourced to be safe and accessible, and expanding early voting.

Congress needs to act now to make sure Election Day is safe and accessible for every American.
